New construction homes will begin closing again in Weddington Trace in October.
Construction in the neighborhood came to a halt about two years ago when the previous builder pulled out. Standard Pacific Homes has purchased the remaining lots and built a new model home. The sound of hammers and saws again fills the neighborhood.
Weddington Trace is located in unincorporated Union County NC adjacent to other Marvin NC neighborhoods and near Weddington NC. The neighborhood has two sections of home sites. The Estates offers homes from the $320,000s while the Preserves has prices starting in the $250,000s. Exterior materials include full brick, stucco, fiber cement and vinyl. Luxury appointments include kitchens with stainless appliances and granite countertops, wood and tile flooring, and elegant trim packages. The size of the homes ranges from approximately 2600 square feet to almost 4000 square feet.
Community amenities in Weddington Trace include a pond with fountains and a walking trail and a swimming pool and clubhouse. There is abundant shopping nearby in Weddington and Waxhaw.
