How did the Stallings NC real estate market fare in the third quarter of 2010 and how does 2010 market activity compare with 2009?
Closing activity and average prices dropped in the Stallings NC market in the third quarter of 2010. The third quarter average sales price was off 6% from the 2009 average sales price and off 9% from the second quarter of 2010. The number of homes sold during the third quarter dropped 28% from the second quarter. These lower numbers are most likely a result of the end of the federal tax credits.
