New Homes Available Again in Weddington’s Hollister Community
Located in Weddington NC, Hollister is a neighborhood where construction began during the real estate boom but ended when the recession began. The community amenities and some streets of homes were completed during that time.
Hollister’s builder, Shea Homes, has begun construction in the neighborhood again. Two model homes are under construction and scheduled to be open by the first of January 2012. All homes in the neighborhood will be built with full brick exteriors.
Hollister has two sections: The Provinces and The Estates. Homes in The Provinces will be built on 75-foot wide lots with base prices starting in the $260,000s. Floor plans will include a ranch, master-down plans and two-story homes. Square footage starts just under 2500 square feet and tops out at approximately 3500 square feet.
Lots in The Estates are 95 feet wide. Homes are larger in this section ranging from approximately 3500 square feet to over 4000 square feet. Base prices range from the $320,000s to the $380,000s.
