How did the 2010 real estate market in Marvin Creek compare with the 2009 market in the neighborhood? The table below shows median values for several characteristics of the marketplace. Fifteen single family homes sold in the neighborhood compared with 16 in 2009. Median prices dropped nearly 9% in 2010 while the median size of homes increased 8.5%. This indicates a substantial drop in price per square foot in the neighborhood. This drop may have been a result of the dominance of resales last year rather than new construction.
