Union County NC Neighborhoods—Fieldstone Farm
Take a drive to Fieldstone Farm and you will feel that you are in the country. In fact, the land where Fieldstone Farm is now under construction was once a strawberry farm. Believing, however, that living in this neighborhood would have you far from shopping and community amenities would be a mistake. An interchange with I-485 and a community shopping center with grocery store and restaurants is just a few miles away.
Fieldstone Farm is located in northern Indian Trail, the largest town in Union County. Construction began in the neighborhood in 2007, slowed during the recession and picked up in the last two years. The builder is Centex Homes.
Homes in Fieldstone Farm range in size from approximately 1800 square feet to almost 4000 square feet. Most are two-story homes with exteriors of brick, stone and vinyl.
A community amenity center was completed in 2012. Fieldstone Farm residents can now enjoy a clubhouse and swimming pool, playground and a playing field. The Porter Ridge schools complex with elementary, middle and senior high are nearby.

Fieldstone Farm Real Estate Market
Twenty nine homes sold in the neighborhood in 2012. The median closed price was $183,237. Twenty five of the sales were new construction. There was one foreclosure in the neighborhood. The rest were market resales.

Fieldstone Farm is located at the intersection of Rocky River Road and Poplin Road in Indian Trail NC. Neighborhood children attend the highly-regarded Porter Ridge schools. For more information about the area, visit Union County’s public website.
