Where are the gated communities in Union County NC?  This is an often-asked question from people who are considering a move to Union County from other parts of the country.Union County NC Gated Communities  My reply is that most of Union County’s neighborhoods are not gated.  Nor are most of the houses hidden behind tall fencing. 

You can find some gated neighborhoods in Union County.  They typically are newer luxury home developments.  Most of them are in the towns of Weddington, Marvin, and Waxhaw.
