There are no neighborhood amenities and no homeowners association fees. Somersby homes were built in the 1980s and include both two-story colonial homes and ranches.
This full-brick neighborhood of two-story homes and ranches was built in the 1990s. Matthews Plantation has large lots with mature landscaping and a community pond, playground and tennis courts.
Built from the late 1980s into the 1990s, Sardis Plantation offers large and small homes as well as transitional and traditional floorplans.
Brightmoor is a neighborhood with affordable housing, mature landscaping and lots with big back yards. You can enjoy swimming and tennis at the community facilities, neighborhood social activities, or just taking a walk along the walking trails.
Tucked among the trees off Elizabeth Lane, Somersby is a small neighborhood built in the 1980s. Colonial-styled two-stories and ranches range in size from approximately 1400 square feet to approximately 2400 square feet.
Wynchase is located off Sam Newell Road near the Windsor Square shopping center. A variety of restaurants, a movie theater and numerous big box retailers are located in this shopping center and along Independence Boulevard in Matthews. A short trip down Sam Newell Road will bring you into historic downtown Matthews NC with its library, farmers market and community festivals.
This small neighborhood is located off Williams Road, which still has the feel of a country road. Shopping centers with big box retailers, restaurants, and other businesses are conveniently located within two to three miles of the neighborhood along Independence Blvd. Historic downtown Matthews with its farmers market and quaint shops is a short drive away as well.
